We are currently seeking a Benefits Administrator to join our client’s team. Your role will play a key role in managing the daily operations of the company’s employee benefits programs. You will ensure accurate and timely processing, maintain regulatory compliance, and serve as a resource for employees regarding their benefits options and questions.

This is a temp-to-hire position and is hybrid in the Culver City area.

Core Duties:

  • Oversee and administer employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, disability coverage, and wellness initiatives.

  • Provide guidance and support to employees on benefits enrollment, eligibility, and policy details.

  • Assist employees with claims issues, plan clarifications, and troubleshooting benefits-related concerns.

  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, including ACA, ERISA, COBRA, and HIPAA.

  • Process benefits enrollments, changes, and terminations in HRIS and benefits administration platforms.

  • Manage monthly benefits invoicing, resolving discrepancies with carriers as needed.

  • Conduct periodic audits of benefits data to maintain accuracy and compliance.

  • Act as a liaison between employees, benefits vendors, union trusts, and insurance carriers to resolve any concerns.

  • Take a lead role in annual open enrollment, including preparing communication materials and facilitating employee meetings.

  • Assist with benefits-related reporting, documentation, and audits.

  • Support the Compensation and Benefits Director in required annual filings, such as Forms 5500 and 1095-C.

What we’re looking for:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent experience.

  • SHRM or HRCI benefits certification is preferred.

  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in benefits administration or a related HR role.

  • Bilingual in Spanish and English is required.

  • Strong understanding of benefits regulations and compliance requirements.

  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and analytical skills.

  • Proficiency with HRIS and benefits management systems.

  • High attention to detail and the ability to manage confidential information effectively.

  • Strong collaboration skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally.
