We are currently seeking a Benefits Administrator to join our client’s team. Your role will play a key role in managing the daily operations of the company’s employee benefits programs. You will ensure accurate and timely processing, maintain regulatory compliance, and serve as a resource for employees regarding their benefits options and questions.
This is a temp-to-hire position and is hybrid in the Culver City area.
Core Duties:

Oversee and administer employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, disability coverage, and wellness initiatives.

Provide guidance and support to employees on benefits enrollment, eligibility, and policy details.

Assist employees with claims issues, plan clarifications, and troubleshooting benefits-related concerns.

Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, including ACA, ERISA, COBRA, and HIPAA.

Process benefits enrollments, changes, and terminations in HRIS and benefits administration platforms.

Manage monthly benefits invoicing, resolving discrepancies with carriers as needed.

Conduct periodic audits of benefits data to maintain accuracy and compliance.

Act as a liaison between employees, benefits vendors, union trusts, and insurance carriers to resolve any concerns.

Take a lead role in annual open enrollment, including preparing communication materials and facilitating employee meetings.

Assist with benefits-related reporting, documentation, and audits.

Support the Compensation and Benefits Director in required annual filings, such as Forms 5500 and 1095-C.
What we’re looking for:

Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent experience.

SHRM or HRCI benefits certification is preferred.

Minimum of 3 years’ experience in benefits administration or a related HR role.

Bilingual in Spanish and English is required.

Strong understanding of benefits regulations and compliance requirements.

Excellent problem-solving, communication, and analytical skills.

Proficiency with HRIS and benefits management systems.

High attention to detail and the ability to manage confidential information effectively.

Strong collaboration skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally.
